Multidisciplinary palliative care
This is a professional training module where knowledge and focus contribute to good care for the patient when life is being lived in its final phase. Healthcare professionals who are confident in their own expertise are therefore key to good care.
Information
The programme covers various topics in palliative care and nursing, and provides good expertise in areas such as observation, needs assessment and palliative measures. The concept of palliation covers far more than just the very last hours of life.
Knowledge and focus contribute to good care for the patient when life is being lived in its final phase. Healthcare professionals who are confident in their own expertise are therefore key to good care.
Interdisciplinary collaboration and user involvement must go hand in hand with relief and compassion.
This is a vocational school module that gives 10 credits.
The vocational school module is funded through the Industry Programme for Health and Care.
The programme can be offered in the following counties:
Rogaland, Vestland and Agder.
Organisation of the training
– The programme can be carried out as a location-based, online with sessions or online part-time programme. Select the desired location for the programme to see how it is planned to be carried out in your area.
– Completed and passed vocational school module gives 10 credits at level 5.1 in the Norwegian Qualifications Framework
