Information

The vocational education programme Trauma and trauma management in the early childhood sector is a unique and important programme for professionals who work with trauma-exposed children and young people in the early childhood sector. The programme gives you a deeper understanding of different types of trauma, including neglect, abuse, bereavement, bullying and violence, as well as knowledge of how to manage and treat them in the best possible way. After completing the programme, you will have broad and comprehensive knowledge of various mental health diagnoses and forms of treatment in children and young people, and of conditions that can promote or inhibit good mental health.

Rogaland, Vestland and Agder

Organisation of the training

– The programme can be carried out as a location-based, online with sessions or online part-time programme. Select your preferred location for the programme to see how it is planned in your area.

– Completed programme gives 60 credits

auxiliary nurses, care workers and activators.

Examination

Each course ends with an exam. The type of exam is stated in the individual programme plan.
