Who can take a vocational school in healthcare or childcare?

Vocational schools in the health and social care sector are aimed at skilled workers and other relevant occupational groups who want to build on their own expertise.

Vocational school programmes in health sciences are aimed at employees in the health sector. Auxiliary nurses, care workers, porters, ambulance workers and health secretaries are some of the occupational groups that are relevant for these programmes. Some of our programmes will also be relevant for skilled workers in the childcare sector.

The vocational school programmes in the field of early childhood education and care are aimed at employees in kindergartens, schools/SFO/AKS, as well as employees who work with various initiatives for children and young people. Some of our programmes will also be relevant for skilled workers in the healthcare sector.

The vocational colleges are based on national curricula and are based on feedback from the vocational sector and trade unions on what skills are required.

Why take a vocational school in healthcare or childcare?
