New programme in tourism: Management in the accommodation and hospitality industry

AOF Vestlandet-Agder has developed a new vocational school programme to strengthen management skills in the tourism industry. The programme, called “Management in the accommodation and hospitality industry”, is tailored to meet the growing need for skilled managers in this dynamic and challenging sector.

The programme provides participants with a deep understanding of the complexity of the hospitality industry, focusing on key areas such as management, guest relations, marketing, financial management and sustainable practices. Students will develop skills that enable them to handle administrative, resource management and leadership tasks with high professional competence.

The programme is flexibly organised and can be completed on site or as a part-time online programme. Completion of the programme results in 30 credits and is particularly suitable for those who already have work experience in the industry and want to move on to a middle management role.

By completing this programme, participants will be well equipped to take on leadership roles and contribute to the development of a sustainable and efficient hospitality industry.

AOF Vestlandet-Agder looks forward to contributing to increased expertise and professionalism in the tourism industry through this new and exciting programme.
