The Pink Ribbon Race 2024
In a world where sustainability and ethics are becoming increasingly important in the minds of consumers and businesses, it is crucial for a modern organisation to operate responsibly. We believe that by integrating social, environmental and economic considerations into our daily operations, we can create a more sustainable future for all.
Through our commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and local initiatives such as the Pink Ribbon campaign, we are committed to promoting education, fair labour, environmental protection and global cooperation. Our efforts are aimed at not only supporting and developing our local community, but also at contributing to global change.

Environmental lighthouse
AOF Vestlandet-Agder’s head office in Haugesund was approved as an Eco-Lighthouse in June 2024. From October 2024, the offices in Bergen, Stavanger and Kristiansand will start the certification process.
Eco-Lighthouse is Norway’s most widely used certification scheme for organisations that want to document their environmental efforts and demonstrate social responsibility. The certification helps us to improve our environmental performance in the areas of working environment, waste management, energy consumption, purchasing and transport. For us, this means that we don’t just focus on short-term financial goals, but that we also safeguard the future by reducing our use of resources, cutting emissions and ensuring a better working environment for our employees.
