Information

The content of the modules is versatile and broad, giving you many opportunities. You’ll have several legs to stand on, and a unique opportunity to participate in the exchange of experience between all the students who have experience from different industries. The programme is divided into three modules of 10 credits each, where you will gain in-depth knowledge of the complex issues that affect HSE in the petroleum industry. You will be able to recognise challenges, vulnerabilities and symptoms in petroleum companies and gain knowledge of relevant regulations and work environment risks. You will also be able to identify risk factors and find measures for these.

NB! Admission will be on a rolling basis until the start date or until the class is full.

Organisation of training

– The modules can be conducted as location-based or web-based. Select your preferred location for the module to see how it is planned to be conducted in your area

– Three modules have been developed within the subject area, each module is worth 10 credits and can be taken individually. It is recommended to take the modules in order if the student wants to take more than one module.

The vocational school modules are suitable for skilled workers with an interest in and/or tasks related to HSE in their organisation. The academic content focuses on petroleum operations and the supply industry, and provides a comprehensive insight into the industry’s current status and developments in recent decades.

Examination

Each module ends with an exam. The type of exam is stated in the individual module plan.

The modules can also be taken as a course, in which case the exam is cancelled and you will not receive credits for completing the module. Upon completion, you will receive a course certificate.
